my project this afternoon

My afternoon project, halfway done

I am trying to get my daughters room ready for her birthday party this Sunday. Her curtains for her bed, which I talked about here will not be ready for her big day. We just picked up our order of fabric yesterday from the store. But everything else will more or less be done. This is a project I have been wanting to do for a while in her room. But now with us updating her room, it is the perfect time. I am just teasing here, no how to or reveal. But here it is, my in the process afternoon project. I am hoping to have it done tonight or tomorrow, and I will post the steps and finished project once it is done.

This is the painted 24'' x 36''' canvas

The canvas was white and I painted it light pink with acrylic paint. I am using the butterflies for this project. That is it. I am off to get more of this little project done. I am waiting to use the butterflies until my daughter Nora gets home from school. She would disown me if I did not let her handle the paper butterflies. Happy afternoon to all!
