just some pretty

 On this fine Sunday I just wanted to give you all a little bit of pretty. These are flowers picked from my yard, things are finally blooming. I have Lilacs up the wazooo! I also made a arrangement of Lilac leaves and put them in a tin can. They are surprisingly pretty and simplistic all on their own. Take some time, smell some flowers, enjoy the day!

 

We are currently lounging in the backyard and my kids are watering the flowers, taking one cup full of water from their little pool. One cup at a time. Got all dressed up in pool gear to barely get wet, dip their fingers in, get water and water flowers. Good times! Oh and Gavin is going to save the world from weeds, by placing them in vases in my house. He is in love with these yellow "flowers". And insists I put them in vases just like my flowers. I love that little guy!
